National Night Out
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. The first Tuesday of August every year is America's Night Out in its fight against crime.

National Night Out has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. Plus, the benefits our community will derive from National Night Out will most certainly extend well beyond the one night.

National Night Out in El Paso has many police - community partnerships including free hot dogs to fun and games for everyone. Those partnerships include the City of El Paso, IGA, El Paso Journal, El Paso Recreation, Community Bible Fellowship, The United Methodist Church, El Paso Gridley School District, Front Street Gourmet, El Paso Rescue Squad, El Paso Fire Department, El Paso ESDA, El Paso Library, Heller Ford, Thrivent, Drake Dental, The Bygones and all the other volunteers that help at America's Night Out Against Crime.
