Emergency Squad
Services
The El Paso Emergency Squad has been serving the El Paso and Secor Fire districts since 1978. In 1990 the squad became an ALS (Paramedic) Service and currently employs:
  • 5 Drivers
  • 5 EMT-Is
  • 5 Paramedics
  • 7 EMT-Bs

Transport Information
Three ambulances, the 1V20 , 1V13, and 1V26, transport an average of 332 patients (with a high of 441) a year to hospitals in:
  • Bloomington
  • Eureka
  • Normal 
  • Peoria
  • Pontiac

Response
The emergency squad responds with the El Paso Fire Department to fires, as they respond to all vehicle accidents and provide extrication and assistance.
