Softball
The El Paso Parks and Recreation Office offers our softball program from the Pre-Kindergarten age through 8th Grade. The program is eligible for registration in Mid-March and begins in May with practices for each grade level. All practices are conducted here in El Paso with game locations being determine by grade level. Each participant will receive a hat and t-shirt for the softball season. Age groups and leagues are as follows:

  • Pre K - K Tee Ball (Boys & Girls)
  • 1st and 2nd Grade Instructional (Boys & Girls)
  • 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U (Girls)

Tee Ball
Tee Ball will consist of approximately 10 boys and girls per team. Coaches will be on the field for guidance and assistance. Games will be played on Subway Field in El Paso on Tuesday and Thursday nights through June. Teams will play around six games.

Instructional League
Instructional League for boys and girls will consist of just El Paso teams if we can acquire enough participants. If we do not, we will join up in a league with Minonk and Hudson. The majority of the games will be within El Paso. In this league strictly coaches pitch to the boys and girls! Games will fall during the week and not on weekends. Most likely the games will fall on Tuesday and Thursdays and there will be approximately six games.

8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
This league consists of towns such as Lexington, Tri-Valley, Heyworth, Gibson City, etc. The majority of the games will be played on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights. The season consists of approximately 12 games with a season ending tournament. Games will run from mid-May through the end of June. Around half of these games will be in El Paso.
