Dog Tags
Dog Tags can be aquired at City Hall located at 475 W. Front St.
The City of El Paso requires dogs that are harbored within the city limits to be registered by acquiring a dog tag license (Ordinance 6.08.030). Licenses may be picked up at the City Hall, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a fee of $3. The dog tags are to be renewed every year no later than December 1st.
Failure to get the required license from the city can result in a $25 fine. Also as a reminder to dog owners: a fine of $25 for the first occasion and $35 for each subsequent plus boarding fees will be given to the owners of any dog found running at large on any public street, sidewalk, alley, or parkway (Ordinance 6.08.060). Fines will be strictly enforced.
If you have registered a dog in the past and no longer have this dog or the dog is deceased, please
contact City Hall. By notifying the City, we will no longer send future notices to you on this dog.

3. Owner’s telephone number
4. Dog’s name
5. Breed of Dog
6. Sex of Dog
7. Color of Dog
